Peta2 Interview with Craig and Brian Southall
Posted Wednesday, June 3rd by Nicole Rork

One of Equal Vision's most notable bands, Chiodos have gained an avid following in the few years since the release of their debut album, All's Well That Ends Well. They've paid their dues on Warped Tour, rocked the main stage at Bamboozle, had a top 10 album on the Billboard charts, and most recently, embarked on a world tour. Even with a schedule so busy that it would make your head spin, the boys were more than happy to sit down with peta2 to talk about the animal issues that are near and dear to their hearts. Check out our interview with Craig and Brian and enter the contest below for your chance to win a Chiodos CD, a Cinematic Sunrise CD, and an "I ? Craig Owens" T-shirt.
Although it's not always the case, more often than not, the most distinguishable component of any successful band is the lead singer. Gabe Saporta is Cobra Starship. When you picture AFI, Davey Havok comes to mind. And subsequently, Craig Owens is the face and voice of Chiodos. When he's not fronting Chiodos, Craig can be seen playing house shows with his side project, Cinematic Sunrise; lending guest vocals to MXPX; or sharing the stage with supergroup Isles and Glaciers. We recently caught up with Craig and his bandmate Brian Southall to get their thoughts on vegetarianism, animal testing, and standing up for what's right.

Drummer Submissions (Updated)
Posted Sunday, May 17th by Mike Eaton
Hey Everyone,We've set up a new email address to take drummer submissions. Brad's been getting slammed with emails (which is fantastic!) though it's hard to keep everything in order. From here on out, please email (and resubmit to) DRUMMERS@CHIODOS.NET as all requests to Brad's gmail account will be deleted. You MUST include links to videos of you playing CHIODOS SONGS in addition to a little background info (playing history, tour history, etc.) to be considered. We appreciate the flood of interest and we will keep you all up to speed as things develop.

Parting ways with an old friend
Posted Thursday, May 14th by Nicole Rork
After rocking together for nearly 5 years, we have decided to part ways with our drummer Derrick Frost. We've got nothing but love for the guy, we just feel it is the right move at this time as a band. Don't worry, there was no crazy drama or anything of the sort that needs everyone freaking out about. We are parting on good terms and are very thankful for the time and dedication the Derrick has given us and our fans over the past years. We send him our best wishes on whatever he pursues next and we know that you all will as well. We ask that you continue to support us as the bonded musicians that we still are as we continue to write new music and enjoy old tunes together. Because currently we are getting deep into writing a new record, and are beyond stoked to finish it up for all to hear!See you on Warped Tour this summer! We are currently accepting submissions and holding tryouts for the drummer position of our band. If you are interested, please contact Bradley Bell @ bradleydbell@gmail.com. Only serious inquiries, with touring history, PLEASE.
